To make the Egyptian waxing with SWEET GOLD Sugar Wax successful, you must prepare few things (and pay attention to):

• Parts of the skin that will be treated, must be completely dry. Remove any residue on the skin, such as body lotion or natural oil secretion of the sebaceous glands or the sweat glands. For this purpose, you can use a tonic alcohol-based, baby powder or shower and dry thoroughly before using the paste.
• If you want to use your hands only (without strips), they need to be dry and not greasy. You can also use rubber gloves if your hands sweat or if it is easier for you. The use of gloves also increases the effectiveness of the SWEET GOLD Sugar Wax .
• It is preferable that the temperature of the room where you want to make the hair removal (and the temperature of the paste) are around 20 - 23 ° C.
• The room in which you make the hair removal should not be moist and full of steam.
• If you are still inexperienced with sugar waxing, then select an area on the body where the paste can be easily removed.

• If you have prepared all of this, you open the package SWEET GOLD Sugar Wax for hair removal and test the hardness of the paste. If it is too soft (because of the high ambient temperature), then just put it into the refrigerator. If the paste is too hard for some reason, you can place the closed package shortly in warm water or put the open jar shortly in the microwave (be careful, the heating should take only few seconds - depending on the strength of the microwave oven, so make sure it is not too soft, too hot and useless before re-harden again).
• When the paste is just a little bit too hard, you can soften it by pulling the paste with your hands what you need to do anyway before the start of hair removal.

After you put the SWEET GOLD Sugar Wax to the required hardness / softness, remove the desired quantity from the jar and pull it several times with your hands. Then apply with compressed fingers (flat hand), the paste in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Slowly separate the fingers of the paste and caress 2-3 times above. With the other free hand, tighten the skin in the opposite direction in which you want to streamline and remove the paste. In the last caress stop the finger on the edge from where you want to make the removal in the direction of hair growth and decline with a rapid and vigorous movement (in the direction of hair growth!) similar as if you rotate the hand at the wrist and remove the paste from the skin as far as it goes. Then repeat the same where you left until the paste is fully removed from the skin.

Repeat this process as needed or until the paste no longer sticks or it is completely saturated with hair.

If you are a beginner in the sugaring or if the paste due to the high ambient temperature or body temperature can not be removed easily from the skin, then you should not keep trying, because this gets the skin bruising (hematoma). In this situation remove the paste away with strips which have been previously being prepared for usage (or with a paper towel or any other cloth), pressing them flat on the remaining paste on the skin, caress a few times in the opposite direction of hair growth (in the same direction with the other hand tighten the skin) and remove it flat along the skin in the direction of the hair growth. The strip can still be used as long as it is sticky or until it is completely full of hair after the process described in "Sugaring using a strips".

After you put the SWEET GOLD Sugar Wax to the required hardness / softness, remove the desired quantity from the jar and pull it several times with hands. Afterwards apply a thin layer of paste in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Put the strip (or other prepared cloth) simply on the applied layer of Sweet Gold and wait about 10 seconds or caress 2 or 3 times with your hands in the opposite direction of hair growth, so the paste adheres better. Now pull off with a rapid and vigorous movement (in the direction of hair growth!) flat along the strip/skin. This strip can be used as long as it is sticky enough or it is completely saturated with hair.

At any time you can use baby powder on the skin to dry the skin by removing sweat, also from the hands. Upon completion remove the remains of the paste from the skin with wet towels, wet wipes or just take a shower to remove the paste.

Because the paste has only natural composition, SWEET GOLD does not cause any allergies or skin irritations. Short-term redness that can occur after the hair removal is the result of minor skin peels caused by the paste.

After waxing, you can treat your skin with gentle soothing lotion, Aloe Vera preparations or (if your skin is not sensitive) easily soothe it naturally.
